豊かさ発見 | 価値交換の記録 #1-6

2021年にバリキャリウーマンを脱サラ、家なきこ画家を経た36歳ヨリコーダです。

まだ家があった頃、都内自宅で日本画の個展を開催。お金でなく「あなたの価値」と交換しましょう♪のコンセプトで、作品11点が完売ならぬ〈完交換〉を達成！成立した価値交換の実践で得られた「お金とは本来、豊かさであった」「お金は価値を無価値に記号化したもの」だと気づく体験を綴ります。お金の制限から解放される視点転換のきっかけになれば幸いです。

家なきこ中、深夜の公園で制作した夜明け。寝袋とその絵。

価値交換①　絵１枚 ⇄ 手料理６０食＋鍼灸施術 

 

交換相手は、2年前からお世話になっている、ゴッドハンドの鍼灸接骨院の松永ご夫妻。交換した作品は、油画の風景画。旦那様の松永先生がお気に召し、交換めやすに提示した〈手料理100食〉を奥様が色々と計算なさりました。というのも100食のうち、施術も交換内容に入れたからです。

 

さて、 鍼灸１施術は手料理●食分でしょう？？

ここで、面白い現象が〈手料理〉を通貨とした場合の価値観の違いです。

料理よりも制作（クリエイティブ脳を料理に使いたくない）、と手作りの味に飢えた独身女性にとって、手料理は非常に価値の高いものでした。他人が作ってくれた手料理というだけでも、ありがたや〜〜の世界。１食あたり1,000円以上の換算でした。

しかし！！！！！

 

日々、料理好きな主婦の換算は異なりました。

手料理１食の価値は、なんと600円以下！！

 

施術１回を15食と計算されたのでした。それでも安いけどな〜とおまけしてくれました。

 

ちなみに、別の日本画の絵でも手料理100食と交換が成立。そちらの方は、自分で料理せずにシェフ派遣をご提案いただきました。アウトソーシングによる１食単価が予想以上に高騰！1,200円以上に！！！この1食あたりの単価の違いたるや。

 

 

さて、本題へ戻り、晴れて施術を含む＜100食交換＞を済ませたのですが、その後に襲ってくる不安が、、、、、

 

お味。

 

人の手料理を味わえるだけでもありがたいと言っているのに、すみません。それでも欲が出てしまうもの・・・

奥様の手料理を食べたことのない私は、もしもお口に合わなかったら、どーしよー。どうやって交渉しよーーーなど、後から一抹の不安がよぎったのでした。そして迎えた、記念すべき、1食目は、2022年の元旦。おせちをご夫妻のご自宅へ食べに行きました！！

2022年元旦から、記念すべき100食交換の1食目を頂くべく、ご夫妻のご自宅へ。午前11時頃からお邪魔してご挨拶。あけましておめでとうございます。出迎えてくれたのは、旦那様の先生。そして６匹？８匹？の猫ちゃんたち、珍客に誰だーーー！！とギョロッと一斉に凝視され、ざわざわざわ。

 

食卓には、豪華におせち料理が続々と並んでいました。
お刺身、お雑煮、なます、黒豆、数の子、栗きんとん・・・こちら全て奥様の手作り！！！実家でもここまでイチから作られたことは、ありませんでしたよ。

 

 

そして、心配していたお味は、最っっ高ぉーーーーーに美味しい！！！！！

奥様は、愛知県のご出身。兵庫県出身の私にとって、西寄りのお出汁のきいたお味は合いました。

「お雑煮のお餅は、焼く派？とろとろ派？」

まさかの問いに、「どちらでも。」と返答。

旦那様の先生は相当、食にこだわりがおありのようで、各々の味の好みに合わせて、作られる手の混みよう。

先生に「凄いですね、、」と言ったら、

 

「こんなの当たり前でしょ？」と。

 

「いやいやいや！今時、おせちを買って済ませるお宅がどれほどあることか！！」

奥様の手料理の価値の高さを強調すると、先生もバツが悪そうなお顔に。笑

 

 

お金で購入されていたら出会えなかった付加価値。

食後は、「男はつらいよ」の寅さんの聖地である柴又観光へ。（この時、数ヶ月後に寅さんのような風店生活を送ることになろうとは知る由もない）。帝釈天へ新年のお参り。帝釈天には、彫刻のミュージアムという穴場スポットがあり、とっても素敵な木彫りたちを鑑賞。まさか年明け早々に美術鑑賞&地元民解説つきの観光ができるだなんて！！

帰り際、「ここの団子が美味しいのよ。」とお土産にお団子を買っていただく気前の良さ！ちなみに、毎度手料理を何食分にな

るかカウントして、スタンプラリーごとく記録に残すのですが、〈食いしん坊ヨリコーダ〉の１食は、世間の３食分と換算し、３食＋持ち帰り（おせちタッパー詰め）で５食となりました。

 

作品をお金で購入で済まされていたら、こんな素敵なお正月を迎えることはなかった。一人暮らしの私にとって、付加価値MAXのお正月なのでした。

 

〈二次価値交換〉の発生。

後から振り返ると、美味しそうに食べる私の姿を見て、よかった、よかった、と笑顔で言ってくれる奥様。

 

頂く喜びもあれば、与える喜びもある。

 

絵と手料理の交換から、二次的に発生した〈笑顔のエネルギー交換〉は本当に豊かな時間でした。

 

 

 

 

＜お金はツール＞であり、欲しいものはお金の先にある。

 

ちなみに、ご自宅に伺うまでに50分の移動時間、交通費が往復1000円かかっています。お金だけで勘定すると、もはや外食したらええやん、となってしまう分けです。逆に言うと、如何にお金が便利なツールであるか。ということがよく分かります。しかし、作品が札束になっていたら、予定調和の生活の中で、優先順位の高い費用（家賃や食費）に消えていたでしょう。価値交換をすることで、自分でも想像もしなかった体験へ導いてくれるのです。

 

 

お金は、『価値を無価値に記号化したもの』。だからこそ、そもそも自分のお金がどんな価値やエネルギーで得られたものなのか？を忘れさせます。もし、お札にその体験を記憶させ、価値を生み出した思い出写真が刻印されていたら手放しにくいし、相手も受け取りずらいです。（仮想通貨では実現しているかも。）

 

記号化したお金は、お金自体に価値があるかのように概念化され、いつしかその記号化された数字で、物事をジャッジするようになっていました。「料理コースに1万円かあ、1万円あったら子供の塾に使うな」といったように。

そもそも、得られる喜びの価値（エネルギーの質）は全く異なるものなはずなのに、同じように扱ってしまうのです。さらに記号化された便利ツールで思考する私たちは、本当に自分が何を欲しているのかも忘れてしまいます。

 

次の記録では、シェフ派遣による手料理の価値交換から、「手料理」に求めていたものを思い出します。お金で見えなくなっていたものは本当に多いのです。

価値交換②　絵１枚 ⇄ 手料理派遣シェフ100食

 

こちらの交換成立は、１１点の作品交換の中で初のご成約でした。

元々、オンラインサロン落合塾で知り合ったアート好きなお友達のユウさん（仮名）。
この方もクリエイターで、私の日本画作品（明治神宮の御神木の木肌をフラクタル画にしたもの）をインスピレーションを得られそうとのことで、お求め頂きました。人生で初めて価値交換を提案頂いた感動の瞬間でした。

 

 

そして、交換めやすとなる＜手料理100食＞の交渉が始まるのですがシェアダインというシェフ派遣を利用して

 

「1回15食 つくり置き × 6~7回 =100食でどうですか？？」

 

というものでした。

 

実は、ユウさんが提案して頂く前日に、初日に来場頂いた方から、同じ絵をお求め頂き、お金での購入を検討頂いていました。個展のコンセプトの〈価値交換〉を実現したかった私は、ユウさんのお申し出を有り難く快諾しました。

 

 

シェアダインは、主婦からプロの料理人までが登録されていて、各シェフによって金額も異なり、評価が高いシェフは予約が取りにくいことも。そんな多くの登録から、良さそうなシェフをチョイスしていただきました。

身分証の登録も必要なので、とっても手間がかかる・・・お金なら必要のない労力を・・・感謝しかない！！

 

 

派遣される前に味の好み、好き嫌い、食べたいメニューなどのすり合わせがあります。
チャットで密にやりとり出来ることもあれば、面倒だから簡素なやりとりも可能。なかなか良い感じです。（全てユウさんが代行）私は、提案してくれた手作り和食作り置きコースを希望。シェフは主婦さんです。

予約してから、おおよそ１ヶ月後。いよいよその日を迎えました。

予約時間ちょっきしにやってきた、大谷シェフ（仮名）。30分前には下見で来られているお姿を拝見し、すでに好印象。

自宅に入るなり、エプロン姿に着替え、調理道具の場所の確認。
冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、炊飯器がないことも動じずに対応してくれました。さっすが〜。

 

 

そして、

事前に予想打にしない、現実と驚きの感情が巻き起こるのです！

〈脅威の手料理！戦いの２時間半〉が始まった！

 

何が脅威かというと、2時間半で13食というノルマは、大谷シェフにとっても挑戦なようで、びっくりする手捌きで調理が始まるのです。それも単身サイズのキッチンで・・・。

大谷シェフの人参の微塵切りは、フローリングへ飛ぶわ飛ぶわ。
水しぶきも構わず、キッチン周りは見事に戦場へと化していきます。
（※調理後、床掃除までしてくれることを知らずに焦る。。）

 

 

ご挨拶の時には、穏やかな笑顔だった大谷シェフがスーパーサイア人の如く、
炎を燃やし、近寄るのも憚られるのです。１ルームアパートでこの熱たるや、逃げる場所はもはや、風呂場しかありません。

 

ある種のキレイ好きな私は、キッチン周りが荒れ放題になるのが耐えられず、この熱を利用して私も風呂掃除をしよう！！とお風呂場とお手洗いの掃除を始めたのでした。

あれよあれよと言う間に、きんぴら、ほうれん草の白和え、ムニエルの下地、純豆腐、などが出来上がり、タッパーに詰めるのをお手伝いします。

時折、お味みをさせてもらい、雑談もほんの少し。単身のキッチンでやることは慣れているそうな。

 

見事に時間内に13品を作り上げ、大谷シェフは帰られました。

 

 

 

シェフ派遣をやっての発見がありました。

 

 

〈手料理〉は、〈団欒〉ではない。

 

３時間で13食を作ってもらう。

このようなコスパを求めるのであれば、キッチンが戦場と化そうがシェフの仕事ぶりに全力で協力すること。

 

理解はしているものの、いざ、知らない方に自宅で好き勝手されると、ざわついてしまいました。

 

お料理たちはどれもとっても美味しくいただきました。

ただ、美味しい手料理を食して、抱いた感情は思っていたものと異なりました。

 

どことなく寂しい。。

 

 

大量のお料理が部屋に残され、一人で食べるのか。

つまり、私が手料理に求めていたものとは、

 

調理者との対話。

 

食事を囲んで一緒に食べる、団欒

 

だったのです。

 

 

「手料理」というワードに隠されていた欲求が浮き彫りとなったとても貴重な体験でした。

コスパ最強キッチリ主婦がつくる美味しいごはんを頂いたものの、手料理に求めていたものは、一緒に食べる『団欒』だったと踏まえての派遣シェフ２回目。今回は、男性イタリアンシェフをオーダー。派遣料金もややお高め。団欒にすべく、ご近所の子連れママをお招きし、その日を迎えました。

 

 

 

超マイペースちょい男前シェフがもたらした団欒

 

28歳、某イタリアンファミレス出身の男性シェフ田中さん（仮名）。
そのマイペースさは冒頭からでした。悪びれもなく10分遅れでの到着。

平謝りもそこそこに、突然動き出します。

無言で勝手に戸棚を開けては調理道具の位置を確認します。（・・・田中さん、そこ一言ありませんか？！）という気持ちを抑えて静観。

前回のキッチリ主婦、大谷さんとの対照的な現象です。

 

そして、無表情、無愛想シェフは調理を開始。

千切りジャガイモのガレット、タコとバジルのなんとか、セロリとなんとかのなんとか、、、などなどを作り出します。（イタリアン料理名は覚えらず。。）
30分後、友人ママが到着。私は赤ちゃんとともに雑談を開始。

すると、田中さんが一言。

 

「そのMacて、使いやすいですか？」

 

そのMacとは、私のテーブルの上に置いてあるデスクトップPCのMacのことのようです。

「あ、はい。中古で買いましたけど、良い感じですよ。」
「PC欲しくて迷ってるんですよね。」

どうやら、私と友人ママとの会話から雑談ができる相手と見たのか、話しかけてきた田中さん。ここから、一気に田中さんと三人で話す流れができます。美味しいお料理が次々と出てきては、話しながら次々と食べていきます。

ちなみに、本場イタリアン料理にはニンニクはそれほど使用しないらしく、日本人向けの味付けのよう。基本、ニンニクとオリーブオイルさえ入れていればイタリアン料理になる、みたいな情報を得て、フランス料理との違いを考えたのでした。

残り30分になって、材料が尽きてしまい、急いで買い出しに出ることに。

銀シャケの切り身を魚屋で購入し、その帰り道のお豆腐屋さんで豆乳ドーナッツをお土産に購入。

ドーナッツを田中さんと友人と一緒に食べ、雑談も盛り上があります。

 

サラリーから派遣シェフへ転身の本音

田中さんがシェアダインのシェフを開始して2年。多い時は月30万円以上も稼ぐそうな。以前の職場（ファミレス）とどっちの方が良いですか？と聞くと、断然今だ、と。

「同じ料理といってもファミレスでの調理は、マニュアルで味付けは決まっているしロボットのようなものというか。今は、その家庭に合わせて味付けを変えられるし、予算や好みに合わせて料理するし、自分で工夫するのがやりがいがあるんすよねぇ」

「金額設定を高くしても、意外とお客さん増えたし。」

脱サラアーティストの私としても、共感しかないお話でした。なんだかんだで、20分オーバーするも、シェフはあまり気にしていないよう。

前回の大谷シェフの猛烈な働きぶりを話したところ、

「僕も最初はそうでした。でも、慣れてきたら話す余裕も出てくるし、なんだかんだ人柄で選んでくれるんだな、て思うから話しますね」

そうか、大谷シェフは、初めてまだ1年くらいだったかな、
気持ちの余裕は大事だよなあ、と沁みます。

 

冒頭の印象は最悪だった田中さんも終わって見れば、ドーナッツをあげちゃうくらうまでに好印象に。このシェフが人気な理由がわかりました。過度に気を使わない彼は、逆に相手にも気を使わせない。企業のサービス慣れしている人にはどのように映るか分かりませんが、対等な人間として接するこのスタンスは、とても自然に思えました。

初めて海外旅行した時に、お客様扱いしない外国人の接客を受けた時の感覚に似ています。

 

コスパ最強13品をスーパー主婦と７品をゆっくりおしゃべりしながら作るマイペースシェフ。

好みはそれぞれでしょうが、私は後者でありたいな、と思った次第でした。

そして、派遣シェフはこのたった２回で終了することになりました。
というのも、私が家なきこになるからです。

生活するのが嫌で家を捨てた日

 

ある朝、目が覚めて思うこと

「なんでベッドの上で寝ているんだろう？」

「なんで洗濯や掃除をしなくちゃならない？絵を描いてたいだけなのに。」

そんな生活への違和感は、以前からありました。

 

今食べたいものを冷蔵庫にあるものから選ばなければならないという制限。さらに冷蔵庫の圧力が苦手でした。あのブーン！て突然唸りだすやつ。もともと、目の前に食べ物があると全て平らげてしまうので、保存するものがない。笑　

そんなこんなで、冷蔵庫は昨年から、自宅で個展開催に向けて、ウォークインクローゼットで収納棚になっていました。

それに飽き足らず、いよいよ家自体を無くしたいお気持ちになったようです。

 

きっとこの家は、自宅個展で役目を終えたのだろう。

 

とりあえず、荷物をどうするか、トランクルームを探しました。

八王子市の長沼公園で絵を描きたいということから、近くでトランクルームを契約。家も引き払う連絡をしました。
引き払いの手続きが完了した時の、魂の歓喜たるや！ものすごかったです。

 

あとは、家具家電を友人に譲り、メルカリで売り、ことは順調に進みます。
トランクルームまで荷物を運ぶのに、作品との価値交換を募集したところ、すぐに名乗り出ていただき決定。大阪の個展で展示していたシルクスクリーンと交換が成立しました。

 

そして、家なきこに必要な準備物を揃えていきます。屋外で寝るのだから寝袋が重要。

以前、友人に誘われてキャンプ場に行った時、「NANGA(ナンガ)」という滋賀県のブランドが良いと聞き、実際に使用して良さを実感していました。羽毛が軽くて暖かい！！
ただ、お値段はなかなかする。。。

 

そこで、100食交換（派遣シェフ）の清算とともにユウさんに交渉。

家をなくすので、シェフ派遣を実施できません。代わりに、寝袋が必要なので残りの価値を寝袋購入に充てさせてもらえませんか！？、と。

価値交換の現金化のポイント
クラファンも同様ですが、支援する側はお金が何に使われるのか？明確にしていると気持ちよく出しやすいのだと実感。

無事、寝袋「NANGA」をゲット！！

 

 

桜が散る頃、荷物をトランクルームに運び終わり（まさかの２往復…車出してくれた友人に感謝！）、家なきこの初夜を迎えるのです。
