A collaborative work with poet and painter RoyTaro, this piece marks the first work in our ongoing series.

Rather than being completed by a single artist, the work evolved through an exchange of creative expression, passing back and forth between us throughout the making process.

RoyTaro wrote a poem inspired by the UnUsFLOWer series.
YORECORDAR created a Nihonga painting inspired by that poem.
RoyTaro then completed the work by applying a layer of beeswax.

In this way, each artist’s expression became the starting point for the other’s, resulting in a work created through a continuous exchange—like passing a baton from one hand to another.

In September 2026, we will present our second duo exhibition, featuring a new series of collaborative works. Looking back, this first piece will undoubtedly reveal even deeper layers of meaning.

詩人であり画家でもあるRoyTaroとの共同制作による、記念すべき第一作です。制作は、一人が完成させるのではなく、お互いの表現を受け取りながら、作品を往復させるように進められました。 RoyTaroがUnUsFLOWer作品から着想した詩を綴る頼黄田がその詩を受け、日本画作品としてアンアスを描く最後にRoyTaroが蜜蝋を施し、作品を完成させるこのように、一人ひとりの表現が次の表現へと受け継がれ、バトンを渡すような制作過程を経て生まれた作品です。 2026年9月には第二回二人展を開催し、新たな共同制作による連作を発表予定です。そのとき、この第一作が持つ意味もまた、より深く立ち現れてくることでしょう。
